Pre-Season Outlook
If he could just stay healthy for the whole season then Conner would be a lock to provide RB1 production to his fantasy investors. Conner has been highly productive with nearly all of his NFL usage and his work in Arizona is no exception, even with the Cardinals offense in constant disarray over the last three years. Conner weathered all the instability surrounding him in Arizona to power his way to 35 total touchdowns in 41 games, so it's tantalizing to consider what he might be capable of in a truly good offense. We might witness that scenario in 2024, because the Cardinals have quietly shored up much of their roster and are in position to add a lot more talent in the NFL draft. With that said, as tempting as it might be to indulge visions of a 20-touchdown season from Conner, it's also important to remember that his injury history is beyond any doubt - Conner has yet to play a full NFL season in seven years, and his violent running style is a clearly viable explanation for why.
